Tips For Using Calculator
Select the Shape
First, select the shape that best matches the mulch area you want to calculate. Click on the image to cycle through the mulch shape options.
Enter Dimensions of Area
After the mulch are shape is selected, enter the dimensions "A" and "B" of the area in feet.
Enter Mulch Depth
Next, enter the depth of the mulch for the area in inches.
Add or Delete Rows
After the fisrt mulch area is completed, continue to other mulch areas of interest. Add or delete rows as needed until you have all of your mulch areas defined.
See How Much Mulch You Need
Finally, after all of your mulch areas are entered, check the results list below the last row that shows how much total mulch you'll need. The calculator show results in cubic-feet (cu-ft), cubic- yards (cu-yards), and number of common size mulch bags you will need.
